
Voter Information
Voter Eligibility
To vote in Beausejour's municipal election, you must meet the following criteria:

Be a Canadian citizen.

Be at least 18 years old on Election Day.

Have resided in or owned property within the municipality for at least six months prior to Election Day.
Voter List

Are you on the voters list? Any person who is eligible
to vote in municipal elections in the Local Authority of
the Town of Beausejour can have his or her name
added to the Voters List or have any information
about the voter on the Voters List corrected before
September 22, 2026.

Any person can request to have his or her name and
address obscured from the Voters List. This person
may only vote by Sealed Envelope Ballot and cannot
vote in person at the regular or advance voting places.

To implement the above, a written request must be
submitted to the Senior Election Official, in person,
by e-mail or mail.

Election Day Voting
The general municipal election
will be held on
Wednesday, October 28, 2026
8:00 am to 8:00 pm.
Advance Voting
Any eligible voter may vote in advance, provided they expect to be unable to attend the voting place on Election Day.
Date: Wednesday, October 21, 2026
Sealed Envelope Voting
Any eligible voter may vote by sealed envelope, provided they expect to be unable to attend the voting
place on Election Day.
A voter may apply in person or in writing (mail or fax) before
Election Day to receive a ballot.
